Reading the issue before the current issue of Blender (i.e., not the one pictured here, but the Ashlee Simpson one) and read the interview with Dave Gahan from Depeshe Mode -- apparently the phrase Personal Jesus came from one of the band members reading Priscilla's autobiography and she refered to Elvis as her personal Jesus.
